A celebration of Hari Raya at Yuhua Community
Yuhua Constituency celebrated Hari Raya at 23rd July, 2016. Sian Chay Medical Institution sponsored 250 goody bags, each worthy $25, for distribution to Malay residents.
The celebration was hosted by Ms. Grace Fu , Minister for Culture, Community and Youth and MP of Yuhua Constituency. The Special Guest was H.E. Dato Ilango Karuppannan, Malaysia Ambassador to Singapore.
The guests attended included Chairman Toh Soon Huat, Director Kenny Lim and Executive Director Ng Ser Kwei. Mr. Toh Soon Huat accepted the appreciation letter from Minister Grace Fu on behalf of Sian Chay Medical Institution.
Sian Chay was honored to take part in the celebration with Malay residents at Yuhua to share their happiness and celebrations. Sian Chay will continue to sponsor goodie bags and participate in such meaningful events next year.
Sian Chay planned to open more branches island wide before 2019 to reach a total number of 20 branches, to make convenient and timely TCM services available to seniors in various constituencies. The forecast of patient visits for consultation and treatment is more than 380,000 this year, with more than 700,000 dosages of prescriptions. Boon Lay branch is nearby Yuhua.. The above activities will help Malay residents of Yuhua get to know about Sian Chay and its services.
Mr. Toh Soon Huat, Chairman of Sian Chay, promotes the 5 Core Values of Sian Chay, which are Forgiveness, Universal love, Compassion, Gratitude and Blessing. Sian Chay will provide support the nation building and social harmony , promoting the concept “Nation Progresses, Family Prospers. The singing and dancing performances on that night was fabulous, followed with the chorus of well known song “Home” with all guests. All attendees enjoyed themselves in harmony and happiness till the end of celebration.
