Seng Kang South Wellness Centre 5thAnniversary Celebration Feast
On 29th September evening (Saturday), Sian ChayMedical Institution hoste the 5th Anniversary Celebration Dinner at Seng Kang South Wellness Centre. The Guest of Honour was Mr. Gan Thiam Poh, Member of Parliament for the Ang Mo Kio GRC. Mr. Toh Soon Huat, community leaders and other guests were also attended the event.Hundreds of senior citizens were also invited to the dinner and enjoy the performances.

There are many interesting activities at Seng Kang South Wellness Centre, and the feedback from the residents is also very positive. At the dinner, Guest of Honour, Mr. Gan Thiam Poh presented gifts to senior citizens on behalf of Seng Kang South Wellness Centre and took group photos with them.
Seng Kang South Wellness Centre was established on 5th October 2013. Over the past five years, Seng Kang South Wellness Centre has been adhering to Sian Chay’s core values “Forgiveness, Universal Love, Compassion, Gratitude and Blessing” , caring for the elderly and giving back to the society.
Over the years, under the leadership of Chairman Toh, Sian Chay has been actively participating in community charity events, promoted healthawareness, and encouraged health care activities. Sian Chay also planned to offer Chinese languagecourses to non-Chinese residents. Sian Chay widely distributed leaflets in four official languages to allow non-Chinese residents learn about Sian Chay, enjoy Sian Chay’s services, and understand Chinese cultures, to encourage people to communicate and interact with one another, to share resources and progress together, to foster racial harmony and create a harmonious society. Sian Chay has gained recognition from not only the residents but also the people from all walks of life, through the charity activities such as arranging forprofessional hairdressers to offer regular haircut for the elderly at the branches, inviting renowned people to conduct fine arts classes for the constituencies, distributing goodie bags and etc.
